Description
Harken Kicker Assembly Upgrade from 3:1 to 6:1. Please note that it does not include the original kicker - this is available as a separate item.
How does it work with an existing 3:1 Topper kicker system?
The new 6:1 upgrade part is complete with a single Harken block and pre-spliced Dyneema rope. The spliced loop end of this rope is attached to the base of the kicker (onto the carabina in this example, as seen in the photo) and then around the existing boom block. The existing 3:1 kicker rope (shown as a yellow rope in the photo) is then re-threaded through then new Harken block and existing cleat / kicker fitting as shown.
