Description

Sailing Solutions Worlds Topper Harken Outhaul System (no cleat)

4:1 HARKEN outhaul, all the ropes and blocks, but with NO boom plate and cleat. This outhaul uses a 2mm dia. dyneema Rooster Spectweleve grey) rope where we can, and a 4mm dia. Dyneema (Rooster AllSpec Pro BLACK/WHITE) through the cleat.

It has a system the uses a 'tie on' block along side the boom instead of running through the boom end fitting for minimal friction along with all the blocks being ball bearing again for minimal friction and ease of use.

We have rigged the kit for you as much as possible, but please take a look at the related fitting video at the below times, it should give you confidence to fit this.

You will need to cut the long 2mm dia grey Spectwelve 3250mm GREY rope into 4 separate lengths:

1 x 450mm Front outhaul 18mm block tried onto gooseneck - See video time at 6.0mins.
1 x 450mm For tying 18mm block to back of he boom - See video time at 0.44 mins.
1 x 2000mm The main Primary Line for the outhaul  - See video at 1:36 mins.
1 x 350mm For tying the outhaul to create a 'fairlead' to the front of the cleat  - See video at 9.0mins.

The Harken supplied thin 2mm grey/black flek rope that comes with the 18mm blocks is used to stop the front block from swinging away from the boom - see video (at time. 8.47mins)

Parts diagram:

If you have the old style boom and would like an easy release cleat, please see our versions of the Topper Cleat Plate Complete. These offer a value for money option to upgrade you existing v cleat boom.

Please note it does not include the 29mm cargo Mainsheet blocks or the sail cloth loop also pictured, these can be purchased separately.

    Good

It is a key part for my topper and is smooth and powerful but is very expensive without a cleat that makes it out of budget for most juniors who the boats are for

    Topper Outhaul

Fair product, rather expensive for junior sailors and without cleat is not a great idea.

very good system buttery smooth have been using it since the start of my topper sailing over 3 years ago and is still as good as it was the first time i used it now rope lasts ages not even near being in need of replacement. very nice thing to have just work properly, a lot of boats even racing with bad outhaul systems and having to pull on the sail at the top mark, not with this :)
