nice gloves warm during the whole winter.
Great gloves for when things get very cold very grippy!
So far I've really loved these gloves. Personally I think they're warmer than the aquapro ones which I had last season and are a better fit. I haven't put glove liners on beneath them yet but my hands were nice and warm in 1C this weekend.
Even the wife (more sailing gear?) was impressed with the quality of the finish. The detail of the stitching and overall finish is very impressive. I sail skiffs that usually destroys gloves in a season when fighting the kite but so far these gloves look very hard wearing. They felt a bit tight to start with but loosen up when wet. The finger tips are thin enough to keep dexterity - my test is if I can put the spring clip back in a clevis pin. I have exceptionally big hands and the 2XL are a good fit and there is room for a pair of hot gloves as the winter proceeds. However, they could do with a Velcro strap to tighten the wrist as they tend to flush with cold water when you fall in. I've been using a bit of tape to accomplish this. But despite that, these are one of the best bits of sailing kit I've bought for a while. Just add a strap on the next revision.
