Everything that you could possibly want from a pair of hiking shorts. Great fit and feel. I thought my older pair were comfortable but these are even better. With the race pads they provide plenty of protection and distribute the hiking load evenly, avoiding painful spots. The shorts also keep everything in place. Other pads twist and move but these use the silicon to stop everything from moving. Also if you are wearing looser layers below the shorts, the shorts tuck everything away and avoid it getting caught on the boat. I reckon that they would even tidy away a drysuit!

I bought these as summer sailing shorts/hikers to go over a wetsuit and they have not let me down any time. I used these on a crazy wind day they were perfect hikers. Keep it up!

I purchase a set of the racearmour lite to go over my 8yo daughters rooster long john race skins. I also purchase the race pads. They do a great job stay in place over the wetsuit. The padding and protection on the back side is awesome, my daughter only put the pads in on the crazy wind days, and those are extreamly easy to install. I was surprise to see her start wearing them all the time, she never like shorts on when she sails, but now they are her go to shorts when she on the boat.
