Description

The side zip buoyancy aid has been innovated for fit and style. Longer and thinner, less bulk for better dexterity. Adjustable sides, shoulders and waist make for a form that can be altered to be suitable for any shape. The buoyancy foam stops at the waist, allowing for a full physcail range of movement with no restrictions, this has been replaced with a durable neoprene panel to increase comfort while seated. Despite its length, this buoyancy aid is rated ISO CE12402-5.

Laundry instructions

We recommend hand washing in warm soapy water and allowing to air dry.

I bought this to use at the Wayfarer Worlds this year as I needed a new buoyancy aid. I also required a BA with a large pocket - and this certainly is the one! I could carry a spare neck buff, sunglasses, suncream & some sailing snacks in the pocket, as well as gloves when I wasn't wearing them. Unlike my previous non-rooster BAs, having the pocket this full didn't make it uncomfortable to wear. 10/10 would recommend.

Comfortable to wear and the big pocket is good. I wear a bib over it which stops things accidentally dropping out the pocket corners (it has a Velcro flap rather than the zip). However, it seems relatively bulky compared to my old Black Diamond and I think I should have gone for the medium rather than the large.
