About control lines: Spectwelve is not for your hands, but rather is the 'easy spliceable' 12 braid Dyneema® to take the huge primary loads in your control systems. For your hands choose from; Polyloc for a reassuring, hard wearing, easy cleating control line; Polisprint for low friction adjustment; or EasySplice if you are looking for a continuous control line solution. AllSpec Pro is available if low stretch is required.

First time attempting to splice rope. It really is as easy as Steve makes it look in the video. Very pleased with this rope.

Purchased to replace the spinnaker wing-wang lines on a 4K. Very pleased with the line. Easy to spice, very strong and importantly, very little friction between the pole and line. Good value for money. Thank you.

I decided to have a go at splicing to improve the controls on my son's RS Fevas and then on my Laser. I got the necessary kit from Rooster and enjoyed my first steps at it, managed to make decent controls and a few soft shackles. The Spectwelve has nice colours and I thought I am talented at splicing. I ran out of the rope and got an other brand at the local chandlery. That was when I realised the difference. That rope was stiff, fair bit of struggle do do the job. I just have ordered a good stock of Spectwelve now. I don't plan to experiment with other brands any further.

High quality line. I have used it for my trapeze lines and is still going strong. Easy to splice.

Just plain and simple decent spectra. I have just made up two trapeze lines for my Hornet in about 15 mins during my lunch hour, dead easy to splice and nice bright colours (compared to others).
