Description

Rooster Hot Legs - a revolution in warmth - A 0.5mm titanium layer that is both comfortable and warm. Wear it under your normal sailing gear for extra warmth - remember layers are better than thickness! Titanium neoprene acts in a similar way to a survival blanket, the titanium impregnated reflective layer is sandwiched between the neoprene and the interior nylon lining, this lining reflects radiated heat back to the body.

Dressing Notes:

  • This garment is fitted tight to give extra warmth.
  • This garment is best worn over the top of a thermal base layer, such as our PolyPro Top for best comfort.

Laundry instructions

We recommend hand washing in warm soapy water and allowing to air dry.

Size Chart

To use the size chart, find a size that best fits your waist and inside leg measurements. If you can't match both of these criteria, please take into account your body shape and choose the closest match.

Please note that these garments have a fair amount of stretch and a single size could well span several sizes depending on how you would like it to fit.

Shame they are hidden away as they are still an excellent layer for those that don't want a longjohn and want more layers under their hikers. I had a Hot Top before and it was Ok, nothing like the Supertherm, but in 2 oC, the hot-legs with polypro legs under them I didn't feel the cold! I was warm even when launching! Drysuit is now in the wardrobe!

I purchased these hotlegs for use on my dinghy instructor course over a very cold Easter. While they kept my legs toasty under my salopettes, after three days of moderate use I notice quite a large hole beginning to develop. I returned the hotlegs and was refunded with no hassle at all. Very good service.

These Hot Legs are just amazing. Once on they are so comfortable and very stretchy and are just the thing for the Scottish summer under my hikers. They can be hard to get on but I've found the best way is to turn them inside out then roll them up your legs. However, it's easy to put them on back to front until you get some practice. Yet another of my favourite pieces of wetsuit.

I'm amazed, ordered yesterday (during stock count, when they are supposed to be unable to dispatch orders) with economy delivery and they arrived today! Excellent product as per usual, no more icy school wetsuits in the winter now. Just one suggestion, would it not be possible to glue some kind of lycra fabric onto the inside of them, it would make them so much easier to put on, same thing with the rest of the Hot range. Andrew

I ordered some Hot Legs yesterday for my 8 year old daughter after she'd got quite cold in her hikers at the weekend. They arrived this morning, and she's tried them on already. She's a pretty slim child and they fit her really well, which is great as I was worried about how easily she'd be able to get her hikers on top of them. We will see how they work 'in anger' this weekend!

Hot legs are a fantastic product. They are so warm in the winter weather and perfect for long days out on the water. The reason I rated them 4 out of 5 was because I find them quite hard to put on and they can cause irritation to the skin. Apart from that they are fantasticly amazingly warm!

I was very pleased to see Hot Legs appear as a new product, after enjoying wearing the Hot Top for some time. I prefer to where hikers and wearing Hot Legs under them in the cold weather kept my lower half warm and they are very comfotable to wear. Who needs wetsuits and drysuits!
