The Diamond Buoyancy Aid from Rooster Sailing. This compact product has been designed for maximum comfort allowing good body movement. Both the shoulder and waist straps are highly adjustable to ensure that there is plenty of room for growth, providing a good fit for different body shapes. Strong Rip Stop fabric has been used for durability with safety reflective strips in key positions.

´ We couldn’t have asked for a better product! Whilst primarily design for sailing, these BA’s are also perfect for kayaking due to their incredible ease of movement, adjustability, and huge front storage pocket. We particularly loved the attention to detail, with reflective panels and neoprene covers over the adjustment straps on both the men’s and women’s versions. Thank you Rooster! ´

I have had this for a few years and love that it isn't at all bulky so you feel comfortable and have full movement while wearing it. I find it easy to get on and off - I guess it's important to get the fit right though. Useful to have a pocket for spare shackles, tape and so on. Still in good condition so I won't be looking to replace it for a while yet.

Bought this for my girlfriend / crew to use. Fits perfectly and has lasted extremely well - used at least twice a week from April-September and still looks brand new, never had that for a bouyancy aid before. The pocket is perfect for sunglasses & sailing snacks, just the right size. The only slight issue - which is personal preference - is the lack of side zip which stopped me buying this for myself. Nevertheless, perfect kit.

I have recently purchased the diamond BA from you and I would like to send in my praise. I used the article written on differing types of life jackets/BAs to choose which one I needed. I have been sailing for many years, but none the less I found it really useful. The only problem I had was when opening the package a tube of sweets fell out, I instantly said loudly 'oooh, sweeties' and then had to fight to keep them! Thank you for the help in choosing the right BA for myself, the speedy delivery and for the sweets, I will be recommending you and most definitely be purchasing more kit in the future.

I've usually really liked Rooster products, but unfortunately this one hasn't worked for me. It's OK when it's on, but the effort and bodily contortion required to put it on and take it off far outweighs this. It really needs a zip down the size. I've now bought another make with a zip and will be selling this one (to someone more flexible).

I'd like to have given this 4.5 as the only drawback is getting my thumb into the side clip to undo it. Balance that against comfort, practicality & great design and it deserves it's 5. Thank you to the lass at the Dinghy Show that made feminist me try it on & thank you for not covering it in pink or lilac or flowers or anything else that would have stopped me buying it. Btw, what's with the female Aquafleece colours???

As a new member of Team Rooster (check out our blog, George and Sophie, RS200 Fleet Racing and Firefly Team Racing) I have been fortunate enough to try out a wide range of the amazing Rooster kit. Having always worn larger buoyancy aids I was keen to try out this small, lady specific one. It is absolutely fantastic and has helped me feel more 'free' around the boat. I find it easy to get on and off despite the lack of zips and would reccommend it to any female sailor who wants to not have the restriction of a larger buoyancy aid.

Thanks Steve - by far the best buoyancy aid I have ever worn. Really appreciate Rooster developing sailing kit to fit female sailors!

I really like this lifejacket and it does all the things it says it should but you need two people to get it on and off so a zip would probably be more user-friendly.But it keeps you afloat and I should know, I spend quite alot of time in the water probably more than time sailing.

This bouyancy aid is extreemly comfortable once on, stays in place, and gives a plenty freedom of movement. However it is a little tricky to get on over a back zip drysuit. Help is needed! A zip at the side would make it a 5/5

Finally a buoyancy aid that fits so well you don't have to move around like the mitchelin man! Stays in place excellently and fits well under a trapeze harness.
