It has been a busy few weeks with squad selection events. We were so excited to have been selected for the Cadet Intermediate squad - our first time ever in a squad. It is just a week now to wait before our first squad weekend and already we have been sorting our boat out ready so that it works perfectly. Last year the first squad session was absolutely freezing so we've got lots of new
supertherm Rooster kit - no excuses now for us!
Tomorrow is the last of the Frensham October training weekends and conditions are looking good - nice wind and mild. The training has been excellent over the past few weeks and we have met lots of new friends, as well as learning loads!
We have now changed boat from 7694 "Wild is the Wind" which is a bit sad but we now have our Mum's last Cadet, 8369 "Exepress", a Rowsell. She is 27 years old but still very beautiful and she feels really fast. I know that our Mum smiles a lot when she sees us in her boat!
