On the 11 October, I was a bit stressed about the race (Optimist PACA region league regatta in Cannes). On race day there was a lot of wind. In the first race I had a really good committee boat start and was in the lead for the first 500m. I ended up 3rd. In the second race I finished 4th. In the third race the wind continued to strengthen and we sailed in 24 knots. I finished 3rd in this race - my new Rooster boots were great for hiking. Overall I finished 3rd in the Benjamin fleet and won a cup! I was very happy.
