Optimist inlands

Last weekend was the 2015 Optimist Inland Championships at Grafham Water. There were just under 200 boats in the main fleet and we completed 6 races over the two days. In the end there was just one point in it, I was really pleased to finish second overall and congratulations to Drew Wright for winning.
Overall it’s been a great month which started with my second overall at the Optimist Selections, which meant I was selected for the World Championships in Poland.
Over half term I am looking forward to helping out at the Bowmoor Optimist camp and during the first week of June I will be heading out to Poland with the GBR World’s team for a test event.
