Issy Black's First Blog

By Rooster Sailing 30th September 2020
Last weekend we (Emma & Issy), took part in the RS Feva End of Seasons competing with nearly 50 other boats. There must have been around 100 RS class boats at Datchet. On Saturday there was not much wind, perhaps 5/6 knots and the Race officer was fortunate enough to get in two races. It was a good day for us because we got a 5th in the first race, 12th then in the 2nd. The wind increased a bit on Sunday and we did 3 races. Weather was cold over the weekend so I was lucky to be wearing my Rooster Hot Legs and they really kept me warm in the cold weather. Finished up just outside the top ten, was a good weekend for us, back there next week for the Feva NJS training weekend - good chance to review what we did well/not so well & get a top 5 finish next time!
