Have you got what it takes?
By Rooster Sailing
The Dinghy Show at Alexandra Palace is taking place next weekend, which is the perfect opportunity for some of our biggest product launches of the year. Amongst the new clothing ranges, we will be introducing the all new Devoti Rooster Optimist.
So what comes next?
Unfortunately, myself and the rest of the Rooster team are all a little too big to enjoy sailing the new Optimist! That means that we need a talented young sailor to join our Team Rooster programme and test our new boat for the 2015 season.
If you think that you're up for the challenge then send in a sailing CV and tell us why we should choose you.
What are we looking for?
We need a young enthusiastic Optimist sailor who can put our new boat through it's paces and share their experiences. You will need to be able to write blogs about the boat, but don't worry if writing isn't your strong point. We can help you with the blogs and there are lots of other ways to tell your story. We love video blogs and sailing videos, so there's no excuses not to apply!
What's in it for you?
For one year, you will be the face of the Devoti Rooster Optimist, promoting the boat at events, reviewing your experience throughout the year and competing as often as possible this season. We will provide you with a boat, fully kitted out with a J sail to suit your weight range. In addition, you will become part of Team Rooster for the year, entitling you to discounted Rooster clothing.
The small print...
You must have spent time in Optimists and have experience racing them. You do not necessarily have to be a championship winning sailor; up and coming sailors should apply! Along with your sailing CV, we will require your contact details and weight to select the correct sail for you. The deadline for applications is 31st March 2015.
How to apply
If you think that you're up for the challenge, send your application to firstname.lastname@example.org
