Fursty Ferret wins the Firefly Nationals!

This year's Firefly Nationals at Tenby, sponsored by GJW, Rooster and Hyde, was an epic week of sailing and socials in every condition from force 0-6. Offshore winds all week created shifty and patchy conditions which made for a high scoring regatta and produced five different winners of the first 5 races. Jane and I took the overall event with 37 points - counting a 13th! 2nd overall were Nigel Wakefield and Emily Saunderson followed by Ben and Jenny Vines who incredibly finished 3rd overall with no results at all in the top 3!

A great week was had by all and the class look forward to what is looking like a huge turn out for the Inlands at Spinnaker on the 70th dinner weekend, with more Rooster prizes up for grabs.
