First time on our 29er

By 30th September 2020

After a month of hard work to get our new 29er up to scratch we could finally have a play on it. The breeze was perfect in Chichester Harbour but as we found out many times the sea was still freezing. So after missing the trapese lines a few times and slipping off the deck for Elliot's amusement. We ( or more like I) could honestly say we need a few more hours out on the water to get up to scratch with the others whom look outstanding compared to us. The 29er is a massive step from the safety of our RS Feva wich is dwarfed compared to the power and speed of our new boat, However, I really enjoyed the experience no matter how cold it was and I can't wait to get back out there on it.
We hope to report on this new journey from Feva to 29er, we are told its not an easy transition but we are up for the challenge.
