Hot off Matt's Blackberry at 1854hrs today:
"All in good heart on BS. Great sail to Mull of Gallaway passing Mistral in the rain on a tight reach. Repair to a small tear in the a2 didn't stick so down it came just before a gust came through at 14 knots: we were on the right sail with the a4! We got round just before the tide turned at the Mull of Galloway. So the gate is closed behind us and most are waiting to get round. So we are second about 8 miles behind white rose. Next call is when to gybe for the Mull of Kintyre."
