29er Eurocup #1 - Spain

With Jake away Skiing, an opportunity came up to sail with John Mather (29er Nationals winner) in the first race of the Eurocup series in Spain in February.

It was a slightly disappointing start to the regatta as we didn't sail for the first few days because of lack of wind but I loved meeting all the people again from Garda.

On the third day we went sailing and the wind picked up throughout the day making racing a lot more challenging. The fourth day was different again and it was lighter which was our preferred wind so we pulled off the best results but as a whole I enjoyed Spain and learnt a lot of new skills and have a gained a lot more experience because of it.
