Initial testing of the Rooster Project ‘X’ pre-production prototype against a Laser 1 with identical rigs. Project ‘X’ being sailed by its designer Keri Harris Cdr RN, and Laser being sailed by Steve Cockerill, Dir. Rooster Sailing.
High aspect ratio rig with exotic spars to come.
NB. Laser rudder blade on Projext ‘X’ responsible for the humming. Like for like rig testing for proof of concept and analysis.

very interesting, could be just what I and I’m sure thousands of others in the 80 – 100kg range are looking for. Something more sophisticated and at least as fast as laser but requireing less physical grunt and easier (and cheaper!)than say a Phantom or Finn.
