From hours of high quality video - taken from onboard and chase boat cameras - Rooster Sailing now offers Steve Cockerill's Boat Whisperer concepts on DVD for everyone.
Mast head and transom mounted cameras captured the exciting footage of three sailors venturing out at Stokes Bay in 25-35 knots. These DVD's show all the Upwind and Downwind action and presents a comprehensive debrief and investigation of the footage which enables Steve to communicate his unique perspective on sailing single-handed dinghies.
These DVD's will be useful to both experienced and inexperienced helms to improve their technique and understanding of boat handling.
These DVD's are available in either PAL/SECAM or NTSC format.

Here is what Jeff Martin, Secretary of the International Laser Class Association had to say "Cockerill provides a constant narrative through-out both DVD's using a patient and relaxed presentation. There is no quick go fast solution, Steve explains what to do, and what not to do in detail and uses the video shots and diagrams to illustrate his points. These DVD's show you what books cannot and are well worth the investment as at each viewing you will always learn something"

Ok, the bottom line is that Steve is obviously a very talented sailor and he could have left it at that.
However, what seperates him from others is that he's set about to find out more and more about this great sport and luckily, share it with us. He explains difficult concepts well and shows us how to turn difficulties to advantages (gybes in particular).
This is a great set and at £30 is a wonderful investment. I bet that no matter what your class of boat and its age, short of putting a large outboard on your dinghy, money won't make your boat go any faster than you would by buying and studying this DVD - yes really.
My only criticism of this wonderful series is that there isn't a DVD on tactics/strategy which I would love to see so come on Steve!

These dvd's tell you so much about making your boat go that bit faster when it counts. Well worth buying.
